if u look at the work done to it, it sounds more reasonable. the suspension works is a few grand, the turbos are probaby a few grand each never mind getting them in there

I’d say $15,000 would be about fair. Considering there’s about $10,000 worth of awesome and expensive mods that have been done to it.

the guy says $30k (which I have a hard time believing) but it must be more than $10k right. Its pretty low miles too. This is what I want my Allroad to be.

I added the mods up w/o labor and it comes out to around $15,000 everything considered. K04 Turbos themselves are around $3,000. With labor, probably around $25,000~
But, considering that most of the people who own these cars do the majority of the work themselves, I’d say less than that.

i wish I could do all that myself. I wouldn;t want to go into anything that requires setting timing and I dont have the ability to remove the engine. My clutch is slipping and I’m debating if that something I can go at myself. I also need ot attend to the air ride. the rear left sags after a while. I think I need a new strut. the bag was replaced in january. I dont think its sealing at the bag-strut o-ring.

As far as the clutch goes, you have to remove the axles (a bitch to remove) and the heat shield I believe. But if you ask on AZ, I’m sure somebody will help you out in exchange for a couple cases of beer.
The air ride thing I’m not sure about. There’s a way of testing leaks on the damned things, I just don’t remember how to.

that sounds like a bunch of bullshit. who designs a drive system that requires near complete disassembly for a clutch replacement.
- the same people who require you to remove the front half of the car to replace a fan.
I think you can hook it up to a smoker unless you’ve heard of like an Audi specific feature that helps check.

Over-engineering.
